I think I’m going to explode if I don’t satisfy my craving soon.

No, not a craving for chocolate or ice cream.  My raging craving to SHOP!

I usually go through this every month.  Back in the day… pre kid, I would blow a couple hundred bucks no biggie.  Now I have to be responsible since my money is being stretched thin in a few more directions than it used to be.

When I get my “monthly urge”  I stand in my closet every morning depressed b/c I have nothing to wear.  It’s all been worn before, over and over again. I know I’m sounding a bit snobby like Paris Hilton, but I think it’s a girl thing right?

I’m in a clothing funk!  I need cute ankle boots, I need a cute dress I can wear with hot leggings, I need more cute hats, I need to break away, by myself and hit the stores like Danger hits the streets in Grand Theft Auto. Get out of my way!

My fear is that I’ll go too crazy and then feel depressed b/c I spent waaaay too much.

If Spezzano and Sandy’s Moose ever decided to off himself, it won’t happen by squeezing a trigger, swallowing pills, or jumping off The Freddy-Sue bridge.

No, I believe this is what could lead to Moose’s demise:

In case you can’t see the highlight, that would be 3500 milligrams of cholesterol.  Pork Brains could just be the death of Moose.

Because we found a pig wearing lipstick!

In every single stupid breakup book, I feel like they say the first step to “rebuilding your life” is to immerse yourself in a new hobby or project to get your mind off of things.

My first thought was a makeover…diet, exercise, haircut…but that’s way too exhausting. And I need Taco Bell to console me.

So the next best thing is a makeover – of my apartment. Carrie did it in the Sex & The City movie…why can’t I?

I figure I’ll be spending a lot of time there by myself because I won’t be dating anyone for the next year, right? And right now, my apartment looks like a dorm room. I have a ton of hand me downs from mom & dad, random crap I bought at garage sales, & (gasp) FUTON! Are you allowed to have a futon past the age of 24?

The first room I decided to start with was my bathroom. It’s super small, so it should be the quickest room to finish. And the first step to making over the bathroom is finding the perfect shower curtain.

I found a super cute one at Target last night. Here’s a picture of what it looked like in the package:

Well, apparently, I don’t know how to read…because when I opened the shower curtain & got it all hung up, it looked like this…

So today, it’s back to Target…to either return the freakin Hannah Montana shower curtain, or to buy the matching guitar toothbrush holder.

This project might be more of a pain that it’s worth.
