Abs Diet?

So Scott is on the Abs Diet, or so he claims. He was on the Abs Diet this summer and aslo claimed to have lost 17 pounds…sorry Scott…but I don’t believe you.

I don’t think the Abs Diet includes cake, donuts, and hot wings – which I’ve watched him eat 4 out of the 5 days of the week. Also pretty sure the Abs Diet includes excercise.

So this round of the ‘Abs Diet’ I think Scott should prove his weight loss. Please show the millions of us dieting women that cake and wings can really help you lose weight!!

Scott’s beginning weight is 188.6 pounds…Good luck!

Have you heard of this? C25K? Otherwise known as Couch to 5k. I’m currently on week 3 of training myself to run a 5k. I can’t even explain how amazed I am with myself. I never, ever, ever, ever, ever thought I would be a runner or enjoy running. But, after talking to a friend who is also losing weight to be in a wedding, I discovered that she was kicking my ass and losing more than me, and she told me that she started running and that was her secret.

So I started running…cause it worked for her…it should work for me…right? But C25K is pretty badass, it really eases you into running for people like me who hate to run. Now I actually look forward to it.

You should check it out…do it with me! Woot!

No Baby!

Took the pregnancy test…and it was negative! Yay!!

Plus my body decided to get with the program and get back on schedule too, if you know what I mean. So I’m happy to remain baby free and plan to do so until my wedding on September 12th!

On top of celebrating my wedding, I will also be celebrating my baby free tummy by filling it with alcohol at my bachelorette party at Tilt this Friday. Come celebrate with me!

Please Not Now!

Please don’t let me be Pregnant!!!

For a little back story, I broke my foot in November…from a combination of the break and being on birth control pills I got blood clots…so now I’m never allowed to take the pill again (boo!!). I don’t want to try the shot until after my wedding because I heard you can gain a ton of weight on it, and I heard the IUD might not work for me.

So anyway…the wedding is a month and a half away and even being off birth control I have been on time for my monthly visitor up to the day and hour….until this week.

I feel all the sypmtoms of my friend ready to visit…but nothing. So needless to say, I’m freaked out. I make it no secret that I don’t really want kids, at least not anytime in the near future. And I especially don’t want to be pregnant a month before my wedding! I’m so freaked out I’m making myself sick with worry. If you’ve ever had a scare before, you know exactly how I feel.

So, I bought a pregnancy test for the first time in my life yesterday. (ps…they are expensive!)

And after recieving several texts…yes this is real!

Here’s the test….

And I will tell you the results on Monday.
