Candace Bushnell, the author behind the book Sex & The City (which I’m sure you know was turned into one of the greatest TV shows EVER), is publishing ANOTHER S&TC book!

The Carrie Diaries takes place during CARRIE BRADSHAW’s high school years. It’s scheduled for release April 27, 2010…about a month before Sex & The City 2 hits theatres!

YAY! You can never have enough Sex & The City!

It’s no I AM T-PAIN app…but I can see myself using the “It’s Britney, Bitch” shake often enough to annoy the crap out of everyone around me.

Apparently,  she was so willing to start the day with a clean slate, that she arrived to her photo shoot completely naked wearing nothing but a raincoat.

I was sick in bed with the flu all weekend. I got home from work on Friday and pretty much didn’t get out of bed until Sunday afternoon. And when I DID get out of bed…I realized my apartment had a minor flood. Again. Ugh! And it figures that this weekend was absolutely gorgeous, too.

The only bright spot to my weekend was waking up briefly to watch TAYLOR SWIFT host this week’s SNL. Her monologue was fantastic! The rest of the show…eh. But I’m not sure if it was actually the show or if I was coughing so much I missed the punchlines.

Long story too long already, I feel much better, the plumber is coming over to fix my house, today is a gorgeous day, and I’m ready to start the week on another (almost healthy) foot.

You can’t see it but I’m also wearing red and white striped tights…which I LOVE and will hopefully find an excuse to wear again.

Sexy song, not-so-sexy video.

Britney had some killer videos in her day…”Baby One More Time” of course, “Lucky,” “Toxic”… But this one? Meh.

What happened to the days when music videos were HUGE events with bazillion dollar budgets and TV shows dedicated to MAKING them? Maybe it’s because of the recent cancellation of TRL (may it rest), but I haven’t seen a music video that’s impressed me in a loooong time.

You let me down, Brit!

They only touched on it for a minute or so, but I was mesmerized by the thousands of Swavorski crystals used to cover pretty much EVERYTHING he would have worn. Seven and a half POUNDS of them on his “Billie Jean” outfit alone!  Both the “Billie Jean” & “Thriller” get ups would have included LED lights that pulsed to the beat.

Not to mention the outfits he wore during rehearsals…from studded women’s Balenciaga blazers to Ed Hardy sweatpants, Michael definitely had a style all his own. I mean, if you saw a guy dressed like the way Michael dressed walking down the street, you’re gonna roll your eyes. It looks ridiculous. But Michael is a fashion icon, and he can make ANYTHING work.

I’m bummed we don’t get to see these costumes in concert for ourselves, but I’m glad we now have this film to imagine what would have been an amazing show.
